Oceania Contest Prizes Arriving

I would like to thank all the sponsors of the OC Contest 2008.

My 12 months access to all DXINFOS websites donated by DXInfos, was activated soon after the OC Contest finished. Thanks to the crew at DXINFOS.

First to arrive in the post was the excellent Sugar Delta World 11m Prefix Map, which now hangs proudly on the wall of my shack. Thank you Sugar Delta DX Group.

Second to arrive were the Oceania Contest & 11m DX Activities Oz QSL cards. Both are high quality QSL cards, worthy to be in anyone's collection. Thanks to Darren & the crew at 11m DX Activities Oz

The other day my Dirland SWR meter arrived, the third prize. It was donated by Syncro Communications, thank you. I was looking around for a compact SWR meter for my antenna projects. The Dirland fits the bill perfectly. No more disconnecting the big Micronta 3 in 1 meter. I use an old Midland 23 ch Xtal rig for rough tuning my newly made antennas to an acceptable SWR on 27.255 MHz. Then my Cobra 146 GTL is used next to tune in the antenna up on 27.405 MHz.
