Sunspots, Solar Winds...I'm Confused

Hello All. It seems not so long ago, last year in fact that NASA and the like were telling us that cycle 24 would be one of the strongest cycles on record.

But having read that we have had the lowest sunspot count in a century, and now I have just read that the solar winds are at their lowest for 50 yesrs.

After all of the euphoria regarding cycle 24 being at least 30% to 50% stronger than past cycles I'm begining to wonder if they (the scientists) really know how cycle 24 will perform ???

Now I'm left wondering if the guys who predicted cycle 24 to be a mega cycle are still sticking to what they predicted....in other words I'm confused =))
