Here are a few tips if you are new to cluster.dk messageboard...

NOTE : message board may look weird to you, its regular users like to use abbreviation. For exemple, "T5" is very trendy these days. It simply means triple five - 27,555 Mhz -.

Also, do not worry if you read strange things like "patron", "tchin tchin" and this kind of things - its normal -

If you want to become a good standing messageboard user, the task is not too hard.

Follow these steps :

- Sit in a good chair, with somes cigarettes, coffee, water and some snacks.
- Turn your PC on and browse to cluster dk
- log in. Ur login is probably your callsign and the pass could be "1234", "admin" , "password" or maybe something else.

Then start using the messageboard following cluster dk's rules.

Just remember the golden rules :

- say AT LEAST 30 times a day " Hi all !"

- whatever another user manages to QSO, don't forget to say 2 or 3 times " Congrats !!!!"

- if you work anything, let the other share you joy : scream " BINGOOOOOOO !" on the board.

- whenever anyone shows up on the board, please welcome him by the usual " Hi XXXX, how are you ?" (even if you don't care about him , but you got to show how friendly you are). You may greet the same person many times in the same day. No problem.

- it is compulsory to complain all day long about the propagation, so please, don't forget to say "pfffff bad propagation" 2 or 3 times an hour. Advanced operators may complain about the lack of sunspots and/or solar flux level.

- if you have to take a 2 minutes break (to pee for instance), you've got to inform everybody that you will be away for some minutes " I'm off, back in 5 minutes".
(You're a VIP, don't forget to inform CIA,FBI and DOS of your position).

- When someone says something and you don't know what to answer, don't hesitate, just type "hehe ;-)" or " LOL ", it should work.

EXTRA HINT : Non lounge members have a timeout if they are connected but idle for 10 minutes. To avoid beeing disconnected, you may ask every 5 minutes " 999XX999 Are you here ?". So the system will think you're active and won't log you out.
Some people send a dot " . " from time to time, but that's not discreet enough.
