Signal Reports That Don't Make Sense

Been seeing and hearing a number of cases over a long period of time of some strange signal reports being exchanged. Although the conventional signal reporting guidelines have been in existence for decades, some operators still manage to supply contradictory reports! For example a report given as 4/0 does not make sense except to imply that there was no movement at the station needle. If one reads the guidelines (as on the info part of Cluster.dk etc.) one will see that a signal report of 0 does not exist. It is also possible that a station cannot be heard clearly even though their signal is good.

Nice to hear a signal report with the proviso 'in the clear' which means the signal is being received but with QRM/QRN.
